CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SQUAMOUS INTRAEPITHELIAL LESION (SIL) PATIENTS AT SANGLAH RSUP DENPASAR 2015-2019

Cervical cancer is a malignant disease that attacks the cervix uteri. Before phase, it will begin with precancerous lesions or Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion (SIL), which often do not cause complaints symptoms. Therefore, regular screening needed to detect lesions. One of most widely used programs Pap smear method. The purpose this study was determine clinicopathological characteristics SIL patients at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar in 2018 - 2019. This descriptive cross sectional design. Total sampling carried out by collecting secondary patient data recorded form archive and results histopathological examination uterine cervical biopsy Anatomical Pathology Laboratory collected were age, indications, degree SIL. samples 177 patients, cases 41-50 years age category, namely 73 people (41.2%). mean LSIL 41.5 HSIL 39.7 years. findings previous abnormal pap as an indication found be most, (41.3%), highest many 94 (53.1%).
